Catherine Sheppard, Ph.D.

Analyst

Dr. Sheppard serves as an Analyst of Cato BioVentures. She also is an Integrated Drug Development Scientist at Cato Research. Dr. Sheppard has over 7 years’ experience in oncology research in both the United Kingdom and the United States. Dr. Sheppard worked as a researcher at British Biotech Plc. (merged with Vernalis [LSE:VER]); and while obtaining her Ph.D. at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, Dr. Sheppard worked in with The Celltech Group (acquired by UCB, Belgium) to identify novel cell cycle regulators and associated small molecule inhibitors. Dr. Sheppard’s postdoctoral work in tumor immunology and anti tumor immunotherapies was conducted at Schering-Plough BioPharma ([NYSE:SGP] formally, DNAX Research Institute). Dr. Sheppard is based in our South San Francisco office.
