Shane Grivna, Ph.D.

Analyst

Dr. Grivna serves as an Analyst of Cato BioVentures. He also serves as a Clinical Scientist of Cato Research. Dr. Grivna has 7 years’ experience in oncology and reproductive biology, specializing in researching the function of proteins involved in stem cell regulation and small RNA-mediated processes. He obtained his Ph.D. in molecular cancer biology from Duke University where he was an active member of the Department of Pharmacology and the Duke University Stem Cell Center. Dr. Grivna’s areas of expertise include oncology, RNA interference, stem cells, reproductive biology, cardiovascular devices, and stroke.
